When Graham (Keri's dad) was ready to retire, Al and Keri were at a turning point in their lives. Al had been working with Graham and Keri was making beeswax candles. They decided to take on the commercial apiary.
The Honey House was relocated to downtown Clarksburg from being on Russel Street for 72 years! They opened a storefront in 2000.
Their goal has been to run a totally sustainable business with absolutely pure local honey available to the public. They are proud to say this has been achieved.
ABOUT THE HONEY HOUSE
Nestled in the village of Clarksburg, The Honey House is a retail outlet for Beaver Valley Gold Honey, beeswax candles and products of the hive. The bee yards are located in the Beaver Valley where there is an abundance of clover and wildflower producing a wonderful honey! Come visit us for a taste of the valley!
